Dream MotoGP x Brand Collabs
Who is your dream athlete x brand collab?
MotoGP is massively overlooked in terms of brand sponsorship and now is the time for companies to really get on board with Liberty Media’s latest acquisition.
With the unique selling point of 3 championships running at every weekend: the lightweight class Moto3, intermediate Moto2 and premier MotoGP – there is a wealth of talent for brands to choose from.
Here are my top rider x brand collabs I would love to see::
José Antonio Rueda x etnies
José is already a character well beyond his on-track dominance and one of the hottest up-and-coming talents around. He's not the most flamboyant of riders, but his quiet confidence, signature cheeky grin and level-headed nature set him apart from the field and make him a great fit for a ‘nostalgia meets modern cool’ brand like Etnies.
Luca Marini x HUGO BOSS
There is something that sets Luca apart from the rest of the pack (and it’s not just his stature): his incredible blue eyes, perfect hair and effortless style – he is a cut above the rest. His ability to go from racer to runway makes him a prime candidate for Hugo Boss.
Jake Dixon x Dyson
Very few racers are as authentic as Jake, and if there is one part of his life he fully embraces, it's fatherhood, but more specifically, the amount of cleaning that comes with it. Enter, his love of Hoovering and Dyson! The third steady component in his social media content alongside racing and family.
Fabio Quartararo x Strava
There is a charm to Fabio that everyone is drawn to. His cheeky nature, quirky good looks and natural talent on a motorbike, he's easily one of the most well-liked racers. But it’s his almost obsessive dedication to his running which grabs your attention. His sheer love for his long runs would pair amazingly with Strava.
Marco Bezzecchi x Nike
To say that Marco is one of a kind would be an understatement. From his unruly curly hair and baggy clothes to his deep love of basketball and animals, he has rockstar power and pull that not many other riders do. His love for basketball and Jordans paired with his cooler than cool attitude and wicked humour would suit Nike to a tee.
Eddie O’Shea x TikTok
Few riders embrace their positive attitude and silly side quite like Eddie. Even when things aren’t going well, Eddie’s optimistic and cheeky nature shines through with his chronically online content. He may be new to the lightweight class of Moto3 and still finding his feet, but he already shows what an asset he would be for TikTok to grasp onto the two-wheeled world.
Jacob Roulstone x YETI
There is something about an Aussie rider and the outdoors that screams YETI! His passion for being outside shines through with motocross and cycling featuring heavily on his socials during the year and watersports in the off season, plus his constant travelling makes Jacob great ambassador material. He may be softly spoken, but his dry wit and quiet charisma, coupled with his high-octane, adrenaline-fuelled career fit YETI’s multifaceted brand.
